The Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Biography

The Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Biography highlights the service of Noel E. Wilkin at the University of Mississippi. His current role is Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. He concurrently serves as Professor of Pharmacy Administration, and Research Professor in the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Wilkin is a pharmacist and scientist. He holds both his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and his Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Noel E. Wilkin is a 27-year member of the University of Mississippi community.

Dr. Wilkin is a recipient of substantial grant and contract support. His published research is featured in numerous peer-reviewed and professional journals. Former undergraduate and graduate level students of Dr. Wilkin have fond memories of his classroom. He speaks nationwide on topics of leadership and innovation in pharmacy. Audiences include educators, pharmacy students, and pharmacists.
